Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

This project provides large-scale funding with the intention of upgrading Vietnam's energy capacity through expanding and improving power lines and the associated infrastructure. 1495 people are directly negatively affected by the construction. Specifically, the project intends to upgrade 500 kilovolt and 220 kilovolt transmission lines and improving the operational effectiveness and efficiency of the National Power Transmission Corporation.
