According to the bank document, the project will expand and improve water supply and sanitation coverage in at least four towns from Battambang, Kampong Thom, Pursat, and Svay Rieng provinces, which have been identified as being most in need and which are important commercial, industrial, and tourist centers but lack access to piped WSS services.
