Project Description

According to ADB website, ADB is helping Uzbekistan improve sewerage services in Fergana, Margilan, and surrounding districts. The project will rehabilitate and expand the sewerage system in Fergana and Margilan, which is also used by Tashlak and other nearby districts. It will also support capacity development of service agencies and project management. The impact will be improved living standards, environment, and public health in Fergana, Margilan, and Tashlak cities and the surrounding districts.

The project is related to active ADB projects - ADB-42489-013 (MFF - Water Supply and Sanitation Services Investment Program - Facility Concept), ADB-42489-023 (Water Supply and Sanitation Services Investment Program - Tranche 1) and ADB-42489-043 (Water Supply and Sanitation Services Investment Program - Tranche 3).
