According to the IADB, this Technical Cooperation aims to support technical dialogue among countries in the region to strengthen adaptive social protection (ASP) systems, while supporting the development of solutions to priority challenges identified by the region's social registries, including interoperability and information updating, specifically, the TC seeks to: (i) the generation of digital public goods to strengthen social registries across all levels of institutional maturity; and (ii) the promotion of stronger ASP models through the implementation of concrete recommendations derived from the regional ASP maturity model, ensuring that diagnostic findings translate into actionable country-level improvements.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
