According to the Bank´s website, the objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the extension of the school day at the secondary level in the Argentine provinces of Mendoza and Misiones. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the implementation of the Secondary School Transformation Policy in the Province of Misiones by creating interdisciplinary clubs for students, training teacher multipliers, designing postgraduate courses, and providing pedagogical advice to management teams, with the aim of maximizing the use of additional time in the school day and strengthening vulnerable educational trajectories; and (ii) to support the Comprehensive Improvement Plan for Secondary Education in the Province of Mendoza through a proposal to extend the school day in disadvantaged areas of Greater Mendoza, with greater coordination between education and work.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
