According to the Bank's website, this project finances the design, building and operation of a 23.28lm, 26 station monorail line in Salvador de Bahia under the terms of a 35-year Public Private Partnership. Phase I runs from Ilha de Sao Joao station to Comercio station. Phase II goes from Porto São Joaquim station to Acesso Norte station.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
