According to the IADB, the general objective of this Technical Cooperation is to strengthen digital and institutional capacities to improve transparency, oversight, and efficiency in the management of public investments and the delivery of services to citizens. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen transparency and monitoring capacity in public investment management through digital tools that improve access to, visualization of, analysis of, and traceability of information; and (ii) to strengthen institutional management capacities for results through interventions focused on simplifying processes and improving operational efficiency that contribute to the delivery of services to citizens.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
