The objective of the Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Ministry of Culture (MINCUL) and the subnational governments involved in the revitalization of the Historic Centers (HC) in Peru, through the preparation of technical and operational inputs that allow them to develop strategies to achieve a greater impact with their interventions. Specifically, the CT will strengthen the cultural heritage management capabilities of MINCUL and the Municipalities of Rimac (Lima) and Huamanga (Ayacucho) in operational, social and knowledge management issues, as well as in the definition of new administrative procedures that allow expedite the execution of works considering recent regulatory changes for the Historic Center of Lima.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
