Project Description

According to the Bank´s website, the general development objective of the program is to strengthen the sustainability of the electricity sector by improving the targeting scheme to protect the electricity consumption of vulnerable users. The specific objectives are: (i) support the affordability of electricity service for vulnerable households in the AMBA; and (ii) strengthen institutional capacities for the sustainability of the electricity sector.

If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
