Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

This project will rehabilitate a 77km section of the regional road linking the tourist centers of Karshi and Kitab on A380 and M39 highways. It will also pilot road-side infrastructure development and install cross-border scanning equipment.

The design of the entire road section (127 km) has already been completed, and land acquisition and resettlement activities have also already been completed by the government.
