Project Description

The TA aims to support the Vientiane Sustainable Urban Transport Project (VSUTP). This TA helps the government to implement VSUTP successfully, and to sustainably operate the systems and facilities delivered by VSUTP though the capacity building of stakeholders.

The outputs of TA are:

(i) up-to-date knowledge on tasks and legal structure of traffic management entity shared among the Government.

(ii) knowledge of advanced technologies/systems among decision makers developed, and

(ii) Capacity on the urban transport management of newly established entity developed.
