The transaction includes a financing package with a US$ 25 million long-term loan and a US$ 10 million revolving import credit line to support the company's investment plan and growth. The project will fund capacity expansion for battery production in Manaus and Extrema, Brazil, including a new and expanded BESS production line, acquisition of electric mobility and telecom equipment, automation upgrades in Manaus, a new LFP production line, and the construction of a battery plant for electric and hybrid vehicles. The objective is to increase and diversify value-added production, boost supply chain growth, create formal jobs, and provide energy storage solutions benefiting the Amazon region.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IDB Invest)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IDB Invest is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
