As stated by the IADB, the proposal aims to generate a pilot experience that supports the transition to regenerative grazing systems in a scalable way, allowing wine producers to become more competitive and resilient to climate change, contributing to reduce GHG emissions (Scope 3) in the value chains of their customers.
According to the IADB, the project will receive country counterpart financing in the amount of USD 611,432.00.
As stated by the IADB, Nuovalane S.A., the Uruguayan subsidiary of Chargeurs Luxury Materials, will be the executing partner for this project.
Chargeurs supplies merino wool fibers worldwide. It is a world leader in the production of premium wool tops and trade and for high value-added merino wool products.
