According to the IADB, the objective of this project is to expand access to credit for women in low-income situations in Paraguay and to support the digitalization of financial services, facilitating access to credit and strengthening their economic independence through financial education and the use of technological tools.

De acuerdo con el IADB, El socio Fundación Paraguaya es una organización no gubernamental (ONG) inscrita en el Banco Central basada en Paraguay, que cuenta con más de 400 empleados y 25 oficinas en todo el país. Desde sus inicios en 1985, ha trabajado incansablemente hacia su misión de desarrollar e implementar soluciones prácticas, innovadoras y sostenibles que permitan activar el potencial emprendedor de
las familias para eliminar su pobreza multidimensional y mejorar su calidad de vida.
Fundación Paraguaya fue la primera institución en desarrollar un programa de Microfinanzas en Paraguay, estableciendo una institución de microcrédito con un fuerte enfoque social en mujeres, comunidades rurales, poblaciones indígenas y propietarios de pequeñas empresas. Este programa, que es, ofrece supervisado por el Banco Central acceso a capital, capacitación, seguro médico, entre otros servicios de apoyo a personas con recursos limitados que típicamente son excluidas del sistema financiero.
