The objective of this technical cooperation is to complement actions that contribute to the execution of the Customs Logistics Integration Program (4517 / OC PN), especially in the implementation of actions to comply with binational border conditions, attention to civil society, SMEs and indigenous peoples linked to the Program, as well as the strengthening of management measures in response to the COVID-19 crisis. It will also contribute to the consolidation of capacities, as executor, of the National Customs Authority, in the administration, disclosure and monitoring of the performance of the contracts associated with the execution of Program 4517 / OC-PN

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
