According to the Bank's document, this project seeks to enhance the economic productivity of Croatia's natural resources.
This will entail the following reform actions: (i) support for increasing renewable energy through an auction system for grid-connected electricity generation and self-generation at the consumer level; (ii) enhancing disaster risk management systems for climate adaptation; and (iii) protecting biodiversity through expanding protected areas and their support for renewal of their management plans.
