Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

According to project documents, the overall development objective of this project is to-

(i) increase the availability and use of gender-disaggregated statistics, and
(ii) build the General Statistics Office capacity to implement a time use survey in its own survey program in future years.

The project will have three components, namely:
(i) Survey preparation and data collection,
(ii) Data analysis and dissemination and
(iii) Project management.

The data collected would be valuable for policy and planning in key areas including human capital development, economic productivity, health, city planning, transport and infrastructure.
