Project Description

According to Bank documents, this project provides financing to improve basic access to water supply and sanitation services in select regions of Tajikistan, and to strengthen the capacity of institutions in the sector. Project components include the rehabilitation of existing water supply systems, including a water treatment plant and transmission line, and capacity building of national, district and local-level agencies.
