The World Bank describes the objective of this project as: "The development objective of Support for the National Indigenous Peoples Development Plan Project for Panama is to strengthen: (a) the capacity of Indigenous Authorities and the Borrower to jointly plan and implement development investments for Indigenous Territories; and (b) the delivery of selected public services in those Indigenous Territories, as identified in the National Indigenous Peoples Development Plan."
