According to the IADB, the objective is to strengthen the institutional capacities of the General Directorate for Human Mobility and Development (DGMHD) of the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs to manage, systematize, and analyze information on human mobility in order to improve the generation of evidence-based recommendations for decision-making. The specific objectives are: (i) to promote the systematization and digitalization of DGMHD processes through the development of tools for data processing, analysis, and visualization; (ii) to strengthen interagency coordination between the DGMHD and other government entities to generate coordinated, data-driven recommendations, including the promotion of national or international dialogue spaces on human mobility; and (iii) to develop institutional technical capacities for the generation and dissemination of specialized knowledge on human mobility.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
