Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.
The three Northern Triangle countries (Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala) have agreed on actions under the North Triangle Prosperity Partnership Plan (PAPTN) that will guide medium-term priority actions to create the conditions for development of the 3 Countries. The strategic lines of action of this plan will aim to: A. Dynamize the productive sector to create economic opportunities B. Develop opportunities for human capital C. Improving citizen security and access to justice D. Strengthening institutions to increase public confidence in the State The objective of this technical cooperation is to support the Government of Honduras in the definition of specific actions to be implemented by the country within the framework of the PAPTN. Specifically, (i) it will contribute to the design of the specific actions to be included within the PAPTN, (ii) contribute to the formulation of the mechanism for execution and monitoring of the actions to be identified, and (iii) contribute to support the national dialogue between The Government of Honduras and relevant actors from civil society, the private sector and other stakeholders to ensure that national actions are based on a strong consensus.

The non-reimbursable Technical Cooperation will have a budget of US$500,000, to be financed through the IADB's Ordinary Capital.
