The general objective is to contribute to the economic and productivity growth of the District of Bogota, improving public transport through the development and implementation of section 1 of the L2MB. The specific objectives are: (i) to achieve higher levels of mobility, connectivity, safety, and comfort in the mobility of the beneficiary population; and (ii) reduce pollutant and GHG emissions with a resulting improvement in air quality in the subway corridor. The expected results are: (i) increase the number of PT users; (ii) increase access to jobs in the area of influence; (iii) reduce transportation costs; (iv) increase the security and quality of service of the PT; and (v) reduce travel times.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project.
