According to bank documents, the project objective is to improve access to basic services and to strengthen the service delivery capacity of local institutions in selected areas. The project has three components:
Local Institution Strengthening (US$12 million). This component will support activities related to: (i) community mobilization and participatory planning which includes local conflict mitigation training; (ii) support for community institutions on infrastructure construction/rehabilitation/monitoring and local conflict mitigation; and (iii) diagnostic of the functionality of and technical assistance for local governments.
