According to the Bank’s website, Groupe Soufflet was privately-owned by the Soufflet family through Ets. J Soufflet SA, a holding company incorporated in France. Soufflet Group was a vertically integrated agribusiness group operating in wheat & barley value chains. In December 2021, Soufflet Group was acquired by InVivo Group.
In October 2021, IFC committed €50 million in A Loan to fund working capital needs of specific Soufflet Group (now, InVivo) subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania, and Ukraine. The existing loan is proposed to be increased by up to an A Loan of €65 million to support working capital needs and liquidity needs of InVivo in Ukraine .
