Project Description

Odata Colocation Mexico S.A. de C.V. (“ODATA” or “the Company”), a multi-tenant data center operator, and an affiliate of an existing IFC client, Odata Brasil S.A. ODATA is. ODATA is owned by funds managed by Patria Investments, a NASDAQ-listed private equity firm focused on Latin America assets and CyrusOne, a NASDAQ-listed, US-based leading Data Center provider.IFC’s experience with ODATA SP01/2/3 (managed by the same Sponsors) in 2020 has been positive: the project resulted in successfully delivering the DCs on time and budget and has exhibited good environmental and social (E&S) performance during implementation. The proposed project consists of providing a senior secured debt package of up to US$35 million to support the construction of their first DC facility Mexico (the “Project”). The funds will be used to support the Company’s US$62 million project cost for the construction of a Data Center (DC-QR01) in the VYNMSA Queretaro Industrial Park, located in the Municipality El Marqués, state of Queretaro, Mexico.  At the time of the appraisal, the DC was under construction, with a progress of approximately 60 percent, with expected completion in April 2022.
