According to the Bank's website, the project provides funding to Newko Balkan, a Kosovo-based manufacturer of conveyor belts, to finance (i) the Company’s COVID-related working capital needs and (ii) upgrade investments to increase efficiency and expand production operations.
Newko Balkan is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ozer Konveyor Band Turizm Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. (“Ozer Band”), a mid-sized Turkish conveyor belt manufacturer. Ozer Band is a family business owned by the Ozer family of Turkey.
