According to the bank document, "the proposed investment is an A loan to Moon Princess Company Limited, (the Company). The Project comprises financing the working capital needs of the Company’s existing two-wheeler distribution business and the purchase of three-wheelers for distribution to Oway Group (Oway), a travel services start-up and an IFC’s existing client (the Project)".
The Project’s cost is estimated to US$7.0 million, and IFC is considering the provision of an A loan of up to US$5 million to support the Project.
The Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Agrocorp International Pte Ltd (Agrocorp) which controls and operates Moon Princess.
Agrocorp is a Singapore-based agri-commodity trader. Agrocorp is owned and managed by Vijay Iyengar, Akila Iyengar and Ravi Raghavan, with the second-generation family members taking active roles in management.
