This project finances an investment in Genesis Capital I LP, a private equity fund which focuses on TMT investments in China and aims to provide capital to growth stage internet technology companies.

Financial Intermediary
A financial intermediary is a bank or financial institution that receives funds from a development bank. A financial intermediary then lends these funds to their clients (private actors) in the form of loans, bonds, guarantees and equity shares. Financial intermediaries include insurance, pension and equity funds. The direct financial relationship is between the development bank and the financial intermediary.

The Fund will be managed by Genesis Capital Ltd, an independent fund manager incorporated in the Cayman Islands as an exempted company with limited liability, established by Richard Peng in 2015.
