As stated by the IADB, the general objective of this TC is to contribute to improving the employability of young people, women and the population in a situation of human mobility through the implementation of labor training initiatives for retraining in digital skills and labor intermediation in Ecuador. The specific objectives of the initiative are: (i) Develop an evaluation of the impact of the implementation of professional training in data analytics with the participation of young people and women, Ecuadorians in age groups from 15 to 18 years and from 19 to 35 years and people in a situation of human mobility with the certification provided by Google in addition to the inclusion of labor intermediation and vocational guidance as complements to the process; and (ii) contribute to the dissemination of the findings identified in the impact evaluation.

The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
