Support the design, implementation and monitoring of the conditions included in the Policy Matrix of the Program to Support Gender Equality Policies in Argentina (AR-L1298) . For an effective implementation and continuation of the policy actions identified in the programmatic series, the country has requested the Bank's support with some specific activities. This support will make it possible to operationalize the reforms, lay the foundations for the development of the activating milestones of the second operation, and to ensure adequate awareness and dissemination of the reforms that will allow for informing and responding to the concerns of civil society. The TC is aligned with the Institutional Strategy Update 2010-2020 (UIS) (AB-3008) of social inclusion and equality and with the country strategy with Argentina by incorporating the gender and diversity perspective in this intervention that is directly alienated with the axis of reduction of poverty and inequality. This TC is also aligned with the indicator of the Corporate Results Framework (GN-2727-6) of Gender Equality and Diversity, Institutional Capacity and with Social Inclusion and Equality. Likewise, the result of the TC is aligned with the objective OC-SDP for Social Development defined in GN-2819-1, to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of social services, and to promote social inclusion, equality of gender and diversity; by financing quality inputs.
The bank did not provide information about the investment type at the time of publication of this snapshot.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment. You can submit a complaint by sending an email to MICI@iadb.org. You can learn more about the MICI and how to file a complaint at http://www.iadb.org/en/mici/mici,1752.html (in English) or http://www.iadb.org/es/mici/mici,1752.html (Spanish).
