The objective of the Program is to contribute to the effective and timely implementation of policies aimed at reducing gender inequality, increasing equality of opportunities and rights of women and girls.
The objective of the programmatic series is to help reduce gender inequality in Argentina, by fostering the effective and timely implementation of policies to enhance equality of opportunity and promote the rights of women and girls. The objectives of this first operation are to help reduce gender inequality in Argentina by strengthening the regulatory and institutional framework for promoting the physical and economic autonomy of women and improving government capacity to mainstream gender policies.
ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF IADB
The Independent Consultation and Investigation Mechanism (MICI) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) or Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC)-funded project. If you submit a complaint to MICI, they may assist you in addressing the problems you raised through a dispute-resolution process with those implementing the project and/or through an investigation to assess whether the IDB or IIC is following its own policies for preventing or mitigating harm to people or the environment.
