According to the Bank's website, this project finances a new bus fleet of modern 12-meter low-floor electric buses, associated charging infrastructure and related services for the city.
Technical assistance will aslo be provided to ensure effective use of the loan.
This project is part of Green Cities 2 and a follow-on investment to the Tbilisi Green City Action Plan.
It is envisaged that the project will be co-finances by a concessional loan of up to EUR 10 million provided by the Green Climate Fund
The loan will be for the benefit of the Tbilisi Transport Company Ltd, a municipal company which operates bues, the metro system and cable cars in Tbilisi.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF EBRD
The Project Complaint Mechanism (PCM) is the independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who have been or are likely to be adversely affected by an European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD)-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the PCM, it may assess compliance with EBRD's own policies and procedures to prevent harm to the environment or communities or it may assist you in resolving the problem that led to the complaint through a dialogue with those implementing the project.
