This project provides financing for the rehabilitation and expansion of a regional water supply system in Yangiyul and Chinaz districts of Tashkent province. This includes upgrading and expanding existing water supply networks, providing drinking water services, improving sanitation, and building institutional capacity.
According to Bank documents, this project requires the permanent acquisition of 4ha of land, and will impact 22.6ha of land. Approximately 68 households are expected to be affected.
