According to the project document, the expected outcome will be the sustained operation of private sector renewable power projects in the ASEAN region. The project will impact regional progress ensured in increasing substantially the share of renewable energy in the global energy mixby 2030; and (ii) the energy mix diversified through the addition of alternative energy capacity and more electricity consumption from renewable sources.

B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited operates as a renewable energy company. The Company focuses on the development, financing, construction, and operation of green field power plants. B.Grimm Power also renders electricity distribution, operations, and maintenance services. The company sells electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and industrial users. Electricity generated by its gas-fired cogeneration plants is sold to EGAT under the SPP program. It sells electricity generated by its solar power plants to the PEA under the Very Small Power Producer (VSPP) program. B.Grimm is a part of B.Grimm Group, Thailand’s oldest infrastructure and industrial group in operation, which was founded in 1878.
