Project Description

This project assists in introducing performance based road maintenance in Kazakhstan to provide for systematic measurement of road infrastructure conditions. As a project preparatory technical assistance project, this project prepares joint-stock-company Kazavtozhol in preparing and implementing performance based road maintenance contracts.

Joint Stock Company Kazavtozhol is the national road operator, and is responsible for the procurement and supervision of mid-term and capital repair works funded by the government.
