This project finances the installation of an advanced electricity metering system which uses modern, accurate, and tamper-proof revenue meters for the power grid system and end-suers in 5 regions of Uzbekistan. Components include the installation of 3.1 million meters, integrated meter-to-cash solutions, and capacity development.
The project is expected to improve metering accuracy, billing efficiency, and tariff collection rates; and provide anti-tampering and fault-detection capability to Uzbekenergo.

If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
