According to the IFC, the Latin America and Caribbean Digital Innovation Lab 2.0 aims to strengthen its position as the leading technical advisory initiative for accelerating the digital transformation of financial institutions in the region. It builds on earlier program offerings such as open finance, digital transformation, and data-driven value generation, while also introducing new components to address emerging market trends such as artificial intelligence. This new phase focuses on supporting financial institutions with strategies and roadmaps to advance their digitalization journeys, while also building the capacity of financial authorities to design policies, procedures, and use cases in the open finance space. By working with both institutions and regulators, the program will help ensure that financial institutions remain competitive and well-positioned in an evolving market landscape.
