As stated by the IFC, Equinor is an international energy company headquartered in Norway. IFC and the Client will collaborate to develop an internal toolkit and methodology for identifying and creating local benefits in relevant projects. The toolkit will be developed in a gender-inclusive manner and will be a combination of guidance materials, tools, and examples that illustrate application of key concepts/principles in developing and delivering a local benefit sharing strategy informed by stakeholder engagement.
The toolkit and associated methodology are expected to be incorporated in Client’s relevant project strategies, planning and operations, thus strengthening the Client’s overall approach and contribution to local benefit sharing.

If you submit a complaint to the CAO, they may assist you in resolving a dispute with the company and/or investigate to assess whether the IFC is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
