Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

As stated by the IFC, the overall objective of this project is to support the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) to develop and foster green finance in the country. This will be achieved by creating an enabling environment through introduction of a green finance taxonomy, ESG guidelines and capacity building. This will create foundational reforms to facilitate green financing in the country.

The project is anticipated to create building blocks and infrastructure to result in investments in green, sustainable or sustainability-linked financial instruments.

Investment Description
Here you can find a list of individual development financial institutions that finance the project.
