Project Description

According to bank's website, this technical assistance aims to support the development of Armenia's transport sector by promoting climate resilience, decarbonization, safety, and the long-term sustainability of the transport infrastructure and services. It will facilitate the preparation of a robust pipeline of transport projects that enhance regional cooperation and integration across transport modes including roads, urban transport including metros, and aviation. The TA will also promote private sector participation in the operation and maintenance of transport infrastructure to improve service delivery, efficiency, and innovation. In addition, it will support digitalization across the transport sector and strengthen institutional capacity by streamlining business processes within road departments and enhancing financial systems.
