According to the ADB, the project consists of a US$15mn or MNT equivalent loan to PN, to support (i) the expansion of a cold chain distribution center supporting its CU convenience store chain and (ii) the establishment of new stores in and outside Ulaanbaatar including in rural areas.

As stated on the company's website, in 2015, Premium Corporation launched Mongolia's first convenience store, Central Express, with full ownership. In August 2018, the Company attracted strategic investment from BFG Retail Co., Ltd., and introduced CU convenience store chain in Mongolia.
