Project Description
If provided by the financial institution, the Early Warning System Team writes a short summary describing the purported development objective of the project and project components. Review the complete project documentation for a detailed description.

As stated by the ADB, this activity will finance program preparation activities for the $39.5 million Skills Development System Transformation Program planned for ADB Board approval in 2026, namely:

(i) program due diligence, including seismic engineering resources and assessments on disaster risk management, climate change, safeguards, and economic and financial aspects;
(ii) the detailed engineering design (DED) and bidding documents for civil works; and
(iii) institutional readiness support and program coordination, which includes institutional mapping and capacity assessment, stakeholders engagement and capacity development plans. This will ensure the program's readiness and timely start-up, avoid unnecessary delays, and thereby increase efficiency.

The total estimated budget for this activity is $1.25 million (comprising ADB's share of $1.0 million and the government's share of $0.25/million).
