According to the Bank’s website, the technical assistance (TA) for Providing Inclusive Services to Transgender Populations in Dhaka and Sylhet aims to strengthen the capacity of the Department of Social Services (DSS) under the Ministry of Social Welfare (MOSW) in developing and delivering specialized services for transgender people or individuals whose gender identity differs from the sex assigned to them at birth. This TA will provide capacity development support to the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) to improve transgender people's access to educational services and Bangladesh Bank to improve transgender people's access to financial inclusion. It will also engage policymakers and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) under the Ministry of Education in policy dialogue for supportive laws, acts, and policies.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main.
