According to the Bank’s website, the proposed Education Sector Results-Based Lending (RBL) Program will support a time and subsector slice of Mongolia's Education Sector Medium-Term Development Plan (ESMTDP), 2021-2030, with a focus on preprimary education and technical and vocational education and training (TVET). The program is aligned with the ESMTDP impact of holistic development of citizens with competencies to thrive in the digital technology era as active participants in a knowledge-based society which enables lifelong learning through quality, open, inclusive, and flexible education services achieved. The outcome will be preprimary and TVET learning outcomes improved. The three outputs are (i) quality of preprimary education and TVET enhanced, (ii) equal access and inclusiveness of preprimary education and TVET increased; and (iii) governance, management, and administration of preprimary education and TVET improved.
