According to ADB website, the (TA) will help Mongolia respond to the gender impacts of the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and associated measures to mitigate adverse impacts on women and the most vulnerable; namely, gender-based violence and domestic violence. The TA will support the implementation of the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Strategy 2030, particularly the operational priority to accelerate progress on gender equality. The TA is consistent with the objectives of ADB's country partnership strategy, 2017-2020 for Mongolia. The proposed TA will support Mongolia in addressing the steep rise in domestic violence during the crisis and boosting prevention mechanisms through a multi-media communication campaign and increased access to legal and psychosocial counseling.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment. You can learn more about the Accountability Mechanism and how to file a complaint at: http://www.adb.org/site/accountability-mechanism/main
