According to the Bank's website, this project provides technical assistance to help Mongolia realize its commitments made under Sustainable Development Goal 5 (achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls). This project will build on previous ADB and the Government of Japan's support to ensure practical application of the policy documents on gender equality at national, sector and local levels, while further fostering sustainability.
According to the Bank's website, this project is being financed by the Japan Fund for Poverty Reduction.

ACCOUNTABILITY MECHANISM OF ADB
The Accountability Mechanism is an independent complaint mechanism and fact-finding body for people who believe they are likely to be, or have been, adversely affected by an Asian Development Bank-financed project. If you submit a complaint to the Accountability Mechanism, they may investigate to assess whether the Asian Development Bank is following its own policies and procedures for preventing harm to people or the environment.
