The IFC project disclosure states that, headquartered in Ankara, Ikas is a Turkish provider of ecommerce-enablement software that serves SMEs. Ikas provides a platform with user-friendly software offering tools required to create and operate online storefronts, facilitating product sales and brand exposure.
IFC is considering an equity investment of up to US$7 million in Ikas’ Series A round. The funding will support Ikas’ expansion in Türkiye and Germany.
As stated by the IFC, Ikas was co-founded by Mustafa Namoglu, Tugay Karacay, Omercan Celikler and Umut Ozan Yildirim.
Notable existing shareholders include QNBeyond Ventures, Revo Capital Management, Ordu Yardimlasma Kurumu (OYAK), Baresford Ventures, Finberg, 500 Fintech and Re-Pie Asset Management.
Ikas is headquartered in Ankara, Türkiye with operations primarily in Türkiye and secondarily in Europe.
