According to the bank website, the project will respond to climate change challenges and further support the (i) piloting and demonstration of approaches for integration of climate risk and resilience into infrastructure development; and (ii) support the strengthening of capacities at the provincial level to integrate climate resilience into development planning to improve operational efficiency for long term financial sustainability of the Alotau wharf.
