According to the Bank’s website, the proposed investment is an up to US$3.75 million IFC A loan and an up to US$3.75 million IDA PSW Subordinated Loan to Dembesh Hotel South Sudan Ltd. Dembesh Hotel is an independent owner operating a 50-key business hotel in Juba, the capital city of South Sudan. The Loans will be used to finance part of the Hotel’s US$20.05 million project involving a 30-room extension and refurbishment of the existing rooms (the “Project”). The balance of the funding will be provided by the majority shareholder Mr. Ayesheshim Teka Zeleke (the “Sponsor”).
