Project Description

Founded in 1996, Masan Group Corporation (the “Group”) has evolved from a fish sauce producer to one of the largest private sector business groups in Vietnam with diversified interests in consumer products, banking and mining. Its food and beverage (“F&B”) subsidiary, Masan Consumer Corporation's (the “Company”) is one of the leading diversified consumer products companies in Vietnam with leading market positions. The Company currently operates factories that manufacture soy, chili and fish sauces, granules and instant noodles in Hai Duong, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, Bien Hoa (Vinacafe) and Phu Quoc island in Vietnam. The loan would support Masan Consumer Holding LLC to: (i) strengthen, diversify and grow its existing consumer platform either organically or inorganically; (ii) meet the capex and working capital needs of its existing consumer and agricultural businesses; and (iii) expand into other consumer related businesses either organically or inorganically (the “Project”).
